Arthur Lawrence Sees

April 13, 1943 — December 5, 2016

Arthur was born in Yankton, SD on April 13, 1943 to Lawrence and Isabell (Birgen) Sees. Arthur married Rosemary Andersen on August 1, 1968 at St. Boniface Idylwilde Catholic Church in rural Freeman, SD. To this union, one daughter and three sons were born. Arthur was a loving husband and a very good dad and grandpa.

He was a lifetime farmer, member of St. Agnes/Sigel Catholic Church, hunter and enjoyed attending farm machinery auctions. Arthur was a member of Lower James River Board, Walshtown Township Board, Sigel Parish Council and National Guard in Springfield, SD.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children: Jean (Doug) Pavelka, Larry, Paul (Heather) and John; six grandchildren: Rachel, Daniel, Joseph and Jacob Pavelka, Andrew and Rayna Sees; siblings: Laura (Gene) Wagner, Shirley (Bob) Meyer, Donna Sees, George (Renaye), James and Eleanor (Tom) Plummer; sister-in-law, Joan Sees; brother-in-law, Larry (Sharon) Andersen and many nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and brothers, Michael and Bill.
