Betty Joan "Bj" Hemmingson

Betty Joan "BJ" Hemmingson, age 81 passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Avera Yankton Care Center, Yankton. Memorial services will be 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton with Rev. Dani Jo Ninke officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Betty "BJ" is survived by her husband, Boyd Hemmingson of Yankton; her daughter, Cathy Hemmingson of Yankton; her son, Bobbie Wilson of Ada, OK; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her brother, James A. Wilson of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ode Earl and Eula Mae Wilson, her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Turhune, 5 brothers: Kenneth, Roy, Ozel, Billy Joe, and Bobby Gene Wilson and 3 sisters: Glynis Holmberg, Virginia Braden and Ruby Yess.
