OLESON BETTY DALE
Betty Dale Oleson, age 86 of Yankton, SD passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Avera Sister James Care Center, Yankton, SD. Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton with James Witkop officiating. Burial will be in the Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, SD. Visitations will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue until the time of the service. On-line condolences may be sent at www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.
Betty is survived by her son, Shawn Christian Oleson of Yankton, SD; her brother and his wife, James and Marilyn Witkop of Leawood, KS and nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darwin D. Oleson; sisters, Earla Mae Coloroso and Elsie Rose Witkop.
Shawn’s request is to direct memorials to the Yankton Special Olympics, 114 Lakeview Terrace, Yankton, SD 57078.
