CAROLYN ANN LOECKER

Carolyn Ann Loecker, 72, of Irene, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at Sunset Manor in Irene, SD. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Thursday, December 7 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Menominee, NE with Fr. Jim Keiter officiating. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery in Menominee. Pallbearers will be Carol’s nephews and nieces.  Carol was born August 28th 1951 to Leander and Sylvia Loecker. She attended St Boniface Catholic School through the 8th grade.  Carol lived at home until moving to Vermillion S.D. where she worked a variety of different jobs throughout the years.  In 2009 Carol moved to Sunset Manor in Irene S.D.    Carol was baptized at ST. Boniface Catholic Church with a deep love for her faith and attending mass and praying the holy rosary.   Spending time with family and friends was important as well.  Carol loved playing cards and putting puzzles together.  Most of all loved holding babies.   Carol is survived by Julie Kirkpatrick, Steven (Kathy) Loecker, Mary (Scott) Silvernail, Geralda (Gerald) Pederson, Lynne (Doug) Gurney, Francis (Jackie) Loecker, Lois (Dave) Kosch, Mark (Deb) Loecker, Arlen ( Finance Maria) Loecker, and  Joyce Sestak.    Carol is proceeded in death by parents Leander and Sylvia Loecker. Brother Charles, Grandparents Ed and Theresa Lange, John and Ann Loecker, brother-in laws Ron Sestak, Wayne Kirkpatrick, and sister in-law Wilma Loecker.
