Chris Albrecht, age 61, of Fordyce, NE, passed away unexpectedly at his home in rural Fordyce, NE. Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm wake service all at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Menominee, NE.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 9 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Menominee with Fr. Christopher Floyd Albrecht was born on July 27, 1962, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD. He attended West Catholic Elementary School followed by Yankton High School and San Joaquin Delta College. He was employed by Stockton Nissan then J&J Heating and Air before relocating back to the family farm in 2007; where he went on to work as a handyman and sanitation employee.

He enjoyed filling his days with hunting, fishing and was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Giants. He was extremely proud that he was able to return home to assist his mother and late father.

He is survived by his mother Joyce Albrecht, spouse Mary Albrecht, daughter Amanda Guerrero (James), son Ryan Albrecht (Natalie) and grandchildren Justin and Isabel Guerrero. He is also survived by siblings Constance Albrecht (Mike), Geralyn Warner (Chuck), Theodore Albrecht, Jodi Dinan (Jim), Martin Albrecht, Michelle Albrecht, Douglas Albrecht (Wendy), Frank Albrecht and 15 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Floyd R Albrecht.
