Ciara "Cici" Yellow-Cloud

Ciara "Cici" Yellow-Cloud 9 year old of Santee, NE, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society of Bloomfield, NE. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Oyate Oyanke Community Center, Santee, NE with Rev. Patricia White Horse Card officiating. Burial will be in the Congregational Cemetery, Santee, NE. Visitations began at 5:00 PM, Saturday and will continue until service time Tuesday afternoon with prayer services each evening at 7:00 PM. The Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, is assisting with service details.

Ciara Yellow-Cloud was born August 23, 2004 in Yankton, SD.

She lived with her family in Santee, NE until she was four years old. She then moved to the Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Bloomfield, NE due to complications of Cerebral Palsy.

Ciara was always smiling and in good spirits. She had a good sense of humor and just being in her presence warmed your heart. Ciara was especially close to her little brother, Isaiah. She loved watching cartoons, listing to music, going outdoors and playing beach ball with her Mom. Cici loved when her Aunt Charmie would fix her hair or dance around with her. She loved "nose kisses" and being held by Grandma Sharon. Ciara always enjoyed her visitors, especially children.

Ciara will be greatly loved & missed dearly. Thank you to all who loved & cared for her.

She is survived by her parents, mother-Anita Yellow-Cloud & stepfather Deon LaPointe, Father- Byron Tuttle. Grandparents Sharon Yellow-Cloud, Mikki McBride, Dale Tuttle; Great Grandma Anne McBride; Brothers- Isaiah Yellow-Cloud, Drake LaPointe, Mason LaPointe, Teison Tuttle; Sisters- Destinee, Annaliese, Tierahnee, Aubrinee Tuttle, and Addison LaPointe. Aunts Charmie Yellow-Cloud, Tina Torrez, Laci Tuttle, and Tori Tuttle. Uncles- Dakota Yellow-Cloud, Anthony Goodteacher, Curtis Torrez, Bruce Torrez, Michael Torrez and Aaron Abdo. Special Uncle Seymour Brandt, Special Aunt Elizabeth Brandt and Jackie Goodteacher and many relatives.

Ciara is preceded in death by Grandfather Alvis Yellow-Cloud, Great Grandparents, Emil & Julia Goodteacher. Great Grandfather Harold McBride. Cousin Angelyn "BabyGirl" and Auntie Dana Redleaf and many relatives.
