Clarence was born in Morgantown, WV to Charles and Margaret (Slaughter) Brown on November 17, 1943. He later moved to Barberton, OH and met the love of his life, Sharon Smith and they were married on June 9, 1985. Sharon passed away in 2001. Clarence loved playing Bingo until his eyesight no longer allowed him to play. He enjoyed fishing, listening to his books on tape and spending time with his family. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren just seeing them put a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes. He loved telling jokes, making people laugh and was always flirting with the ladies.
He is survived by his daughter, Rayette Cunningham (Shujah Khan) of Yankton, SD; son, William Cunningham of Canton, OH; sisters, Mable Brewer of Fairmont, WV, Martha Charlton of Grafton, WV, Margaret Charlton of Simpson, WV and Mary Harris of Morgantown, WV; four grandchildren: Tabatha Vanhorn (Sandy Matyas), Zachariah (Alicia) VanHorn, Sariah Cunningham and Donald VanHorn; five great-grandchildren: Lucianna Strike, Ezra Martinez, Ezekial Matinez, Izzabella Cunningham and Chace VanHorn; many nieces and nephews and a very close friend, Vicki Wiebersiek.
He was preceded death by his parents, his loving wife, Sharon Brown and his brother, Charles Brown.
