Clarence was born October 26, 1918 in Beaver Creek, NE to Peter and Anna (Albrecht) Mueller. Since he first entered into this world as a thriving 2 month preemie, weighing only 3 pounds, he was a man of miraculous strength and faith. His mother was suffering with the Spanish Influenza of 1918 and died 10 days after his birth. He was kept alive by loving family members who fed him fresh cows milk placed directly into sterilized baby bottles. He was so proud to say he lived in the same house he was born in for his entire 95 years of life. He attended grades 1-8 in Beaver Creek School. Clarence married Angela Schieffer on April 22, 1952, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Constance, NE. He always enjoyed being a farmer and helping other farmers. In the 1930's he also worked for Gurney's in their gardens across the river. His life was fulfilled through his love of God and his Catholic faith, his family, his friends, the farm life, rainfalls, and baseball.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Angela Mueller of Crofton, NE; sons: Charles (Rita) Mueller, Stephen (Mary) Mueller, Robert (Tracy) Mueller, and Thomas (Joanna) Mueller, all of Crofton, NE; daughters: Michelle (Kent) Burr of Round Rock, TX, Kathleen (Steve) Farlee of Norfolk, NE, Paula (Kim) Kroeger of Lennox, SD, Karen (Rick) Ramsey of Englewood, CO, and Colleen (Michael) Burgett of Battle Creek, NE; 23 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Francis (Lavonne) Mueller of Crofton, NE; sisters, Heidi Tramp of Yankton, SD and Rose Ann (Oscar) Whitlow of San Marcos, CA.
