David Michael Fitch, age 68, of Mission Hill, SD, a well-loved son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa and friend passed Monday, November 28, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. On-line condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.

David was born July 25, 1948 to Walter and Agnes (Grail) Fitch in Yankton, SD. He was baptized in the Baptist Church in Yankton. As a child, David lived in various places due to his father’s job. On December 8, 1973 he married June Daniels. To this union, four children were born: Chris, Lori, Jodey and Richard. David spend most of his life working as a mechanic. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles and visiting with anyone who would listen. His family was his pride and joy.

David is survived by his wife, June of Mission Hill, SD, his children: Chris (Julie) Fitch, Lori Fitch, Jodey Haag and Richard (Sarah) Fitch, all of Yankton, SD, 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny Fitch of Volin, SD and 2 sisters, Carol (John) Wiechmann of Yankton, SD and Gloria (Bob) Peterson of Worthing, SD.

David was preceded in death by his parents and two great-granddaughters, Rosaline Snowe and Khloe Fitch.
