TEESLINK, DICK LEE

Dick was born July 5, 1942 to Emil and Esther (Jurczewsky) Teeslink in Geddes, SD. He was the second of 13 children. He lived in Platte until 1964 when he married Patricia L. Over the years Dick held many positions in sales and construction. In 1972 he moved the family from Sioux Falls, SD to Luverne, MN where he and Pat owned and operated the Cardinal Drive Inn. The Mint became famous for their broasted chicken and Prime Rib! He also started Dick's Vending which he continued to run after selling the Mint in 1998. Upon retirement, Dick and Pat spent many winters in Mission, TX where Dick enjoyed helping other park residents with odd jobs and small construction projects. In 2008 they purchased a cabin in the Black Hills on Rapid Creek and enjoyed spending as much time there as possible. He enjoyed time with his family, especially his three grandsons!
