Eleanora D. Schultz age 82 of Menno, SD passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Freeman Regional Health Services Hospital, Freeman, SD. The Aisenbrey-Opsahl-Kostel Memorial Chapel is assisting with the service details. On-line condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.

Eleanora was born January 11, 1934 in Menno, SD to Henry and Regina (Schaeffer) Oswald. She was baptized April 2, 1934 and confirmed at Zion Evangelical Church. She married Gust Schultz on November 8, 1955. Eleanora was employed at Menno-Olivet Care Center for 20 years. She volunteered hair fixing at MOCC. She also worked at the Rainbow Bridge Daycare. She delivered Meals on Wheels, drove a garbage truck for her son, Lonnie. Eleanor had her CDL license. She loved to sing songs “You Are My Sunshine” to her great grandson and her granddaughter.

Eleanora is survived by her sons, Lonnie Schultz of Menno, SD and Bruce Schultz of Denver, CO; daughter, Sandra (Todd) Weber of Menno, SD; grandchild, Nikki Marie Weber of Menno, SD; great-grandchild, Jayce Paul Gukiesen of Menno, SD and sisters: Elda Schaeffer, Adella Auch, Hulda Auch and Leona Streyle, all of Menno, SD.

Eleanora was preceded in death by her husband, Gust in 1993; son, Bernie Schutz in 1960; brother, Edmund Oswald; parents, Henry and Regina Oswald; siblings: Edna Oswald, Viola Tipple, Ardena Oswald and Martha Mettler and Elmer Oswald.
