TWEEDY FAITH

Faith Lynn Tweedy, age 24, of Yankton, SD died of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, Monday, February 3, 2025.  Memorial services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the United Church of Christ (Congregational), Yankton, SD with Rev. Jacquline Hickox-Morgan officiating.  Visitations will be from 5 to 7 PM, Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory, Yankton, SD.  Visitations will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.  Online condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfunerlhome.com .

Faith Lynn Tweedy was born April 5,2000 in Yankton S.D. to Melanie French and Aaron Suing. Faith grew up in Utica S.D. and Yankton S.D. then moved to Crofton N.E. In 2009. In 2011 she moved to Rockport Texas. Benjamin Tweedy adopted Faith in 2014 becoming a princess to 2 dads. Faith graduated in 2018 from Sinton High School. She left Texas and moved back to S.D. in 2021, and her mom and brother later joined her.

Faith was baptized in Yankton at the United Church of Christ as a child. Faith has always had a love of animals and enjoyed going to the humane society to spend time with the cats and dogs. She met Randall Clifton in Yankton and became his fiancé on Halloween of 2024 and they were planning a fall wedding 2026

Faith enjoyed spending time with family and spent weekly movie nights with her mom and Xaden. Faith was a kind, loving soul who would do whatever she could to help you out if she could. She had the best heart and just wanted to help everyone out and make friends.

Survivors: Melanie French, mom. Xaden French, who was known as her brother. Her 2 dads, Benjamin Tweedy and Aaron Suing. her half-sisters Marissa Heydon and Ann Suing, Grandma French and Grandma and grandpa Tweedy and many aunts and uncles.

Preceded in death: sister Destiny Suing, Grandpa French, Grandpa and Grandma Suing, several aunts and uncles

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
