Floyd M. Hauck, age 96, of Utica, SD passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton, SD. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at the Menno School Gymnasium with Melinda Yule, Paul Haakenson, and Perry Pearson officiating. Burial will be in the Menno Cemetery, Menno, SD. Visitations will be 5 to 8 pm, Monday, June 22, 2026 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, SD and then one hour prior to the service at the gym in Menno. Floyd was born December 7th 1929 to Edward and Mina. (Iler) Hauck. He was in the armed services from November 1951 to November of 1953. He then returned to the family farm at Utica, South Dakota. He married Joyce Kleffman. On April 20, 1953 in Yankton, South Dakota. They had 52 wonderful years together.

On June 19, 2009, he married Dorothy Yule from Brocket, North Dakota. They continued to reside on the Hauck farm at Utica, South Dakota. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, his 3 daughters DeAnn (George). Kuehn, of Papillion, Nebraska, Darlene, (Keith) Stubbe of Utica, SD and Lori Hauck, of Utica, SD; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 step-children; Maynard (Noreen) Yule, Denise (Glenn) Boettcher, Darcy (Jesse) Lackman, Melinda Yule, Janine Yule, and Marla (Jeff) Anderson, and 14 step-Grandchildren who called him Grandpa Floyd and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Clifford and sister, Joetta and his first wife, Joyce.
