Glenn J. Juhnke

Glenn J. Juhnke, age 56 of Yankton passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, October 10, 2013. A Memorial Service will be at 2 PM, Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Chapel, Yankton with Rev. Rod Veldhuizen officiating. Visitations will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

Glenn James Juhnke was born April 14th, 1957 to Bruce and Nancy (Heisinger) Juhnke.

Glenn's earliest years were spent being raised on the family farm near Milltown, South Dakota. Although the Juhnke family moved off the farm years ago, it stayed a very special place in his heart. Over the years he built lasting and cherished memories for his sons and grandkids with their frequent visits to the family farm.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Nancy Juhnke and his nephew, Martin Juhnke.

Glenn leaves behind sons, Galen Juhnke (Rena) and Michael Juhnke; his grandchildren: Madison, Alison, Troy, James, Lily & Wyett; his brothers, Steve Juhnke (Natalie) and Chris Juhnke (Pam); a sister, Barbara Juhnke Clark (Dave), numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many who thought of him as family.
