Howard James Relf, a longtime resident of Yankton departed his earthly ties on March 14, 2016 after 91 welcome years.
Howard was born near Flandreau, South Dakota as the middle son of Mabel and Wesley Relf.
Howard’s greatest joys in life surrounded his four surviving sons, his grandchildren, his Boston Terriers, Horses and observing bald eagles near Lewis and Clark Lake. His happiness was evident by his brilliant smile and pleasant demeanor.
Howard spent the majority of his adult life as an Electrical Lineman enduring many harsh South Dakota winters while ensuring electrical power for consumers. After retiring, he enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends.
Howard has passed on to run with the horses and soar with the eagles.
