Jerry A. Grandorff

Jerry A. Grandorff, age 62 of Omaha, NE and formerly of Niobrara, NE passed away early Saturday morning, May 7, 2016 at the Fontenell Nursing Home, Omaha, NE. On-line condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.

Jerry was born April 20, 1954 in Aurora, CO. He attended Aurora Elementary School until 1961. The family moved to rural Crofton, NE, where Jerry attended Frankfort Elementary School until the 8th grade. Jerry attended Crofton High School until 1973. He worked on the family farm until 1973. He then worked for John Morman on his farm. Jerry also worked for Kolberg Manufacturing Company. He was a caretaker for Marge Lippert who was Jerry's companion. Jerry also worked on other farms by Niobrara, NE.

Jerry enjoyed horseback riding, hunting and fishing from his boat.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Betty (Grandorff) Schempp, sisters: Linda Swanson, Karen Uhing and Nancy Mundy; brothers, Ronald and Teddy Grandorff; plus many nephews, nieces and great nieces.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Grandorff; brother, Randy Grandorff and sister, Sandy Grandorff.
