Linda Sue Stock

Linda Sue (Ryken) Stock, 45, of Yankton, SD passed away on Saturday April 13, 2013 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Services are on Thursday, April 18 at 2:00 PM at Opsahl Kostel Funeral home with Pastor Dave Wildermuth officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 17 with a Scripture service at 7:00 PM. Pallbearers are Dusty Christensen, Jake Stanage, Carson Christensen, Terry Haas, Todd Blackburn, Hussein Hassen, Ron Livingston, Tim Bohn and John Cap. She was born to Irene (Cap) Ryken and Doug Ryken on January 2, 1968. She was one of five siblings. Linda graduated from Yankton High School in 1986. Linda married the love of her life, Lyle Stock, on April 4, 2008. Linda's life revolved around her family and friends. She was always helping anyone in need. Her greatest joys were her six grandchildren. Linda enjoyed family gatherings. She loved motorcycle rides with her husband. She loved the sun in the mornings, beaches, vacations, and relaxing in the pool. She loved people. Linda worked at Kolberg Pioneer for over 25 years. She loved her job and her Kolberg Pioneer family and looked forward to returning to work. Blessed to have shared her life, she is survived by her husband, Lyle Stock, daughters Kayla Vanarsdale and Ashlee Vanarsdale, parents Irene Ryken and Doug Ryken, grandmother Lillian Cap, brother Jerold (Stacy) Ryken, sister Kristi (Dusty) Christensen, sister Jill (Jake) Stanage, brother Jeff Ryken, grandchildren Alex, Ethan, Aaliya, Halle, Zayana, Iylee, and nieces and nephew Caitlin, Carson, Anna, Madison. Linda was preceded in death by her Grandfather Anton Cap, Grandfather Donnely Ryken and Grandmother Sylvia Ryken.
