Linette Marie Schnabel

Linette M. Schnabel, age 63 of Menno passed away unexpectedly at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls on Saturday, August 06, 2016 surrounded by her family.

Linette Marie was born on October 17, 1952 in Brookings, SD to Dale and Mary (Early) McCord. She grew up in Brookings and graduated from Brookings High School. She continued her education at Nettleton Business School.

She was united in marriage to Earl Schnabel on May 19th, 1973. They established their home and raised two children in Menno for the past 43 years. Linette worked at LCM, Gurney Seed, and spent 38 years working for the State of South Dakota Court System until retiring April 1, 2013.

Linette enjoyed bowling in the Women's League, doing puzzles and word games. She also loved spending time with her two grandsons.

Linette's memory will be cherished by her husband, Earl Schnabel of Menno, SD; daughter, Jennifer Schnabel of Sioux Falls, SD; son, Brian, his wife Erin and their children, William and George, all of Dakota Dunes, SD; brother-in-law, Roger Erickson of Brookings, SD and her numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, and her sister, Lori Erickson.
