Missy Hevle was born on November 17, 1972 in Yankton, SD to Linda Bruner and the late Michael Hevle. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Marks Catholic Church, Lake Andes, SD.
On September 3, 2011 she married Richard Heimes in Yankton, SD and lived in Sioux Falls until she passed away. Missy had two daughters, Merissa and MicKayla and one son, Adain. She enjoyed shopping and getting coffee with her children. She called them her “Pookie Bear” and “Pooh Bear”. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom and volunteering her time at her son’s school whenever possible. She was a fan of Nascar, Kansas City Chiefs and giving her husband a hard time for being a fan of the Raiders. She was lucky to spend ample time with her young grandson who she called her “Sunshine” and her son was her “Superstar”. She enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Her memories are cherished and she will be missed by several.
Missy is survived by her husband, Richard Heimes; daughters, Merissa (Jason Schroeder) Hanzlik and MicKayla (Seth Spielmann) Hanzlik; son, Adain Heimes; grandson, Kalvin Hanzlik, all of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Amy (Brian) Fox of Yankton, SD, Sara (Wayne Lentsch) Hevle of Sioux Falls, SD; brothers, Josh Bruner of Hawarden, IA, Brian Witherwax of Washington State, David Hevle of Rapid City, SD; mother, Linda Bruner; parents-in-law, Joann Heimes and Donald and Viola Heimes; sisters-in-law, Donna (Steve) Shutt, Kimberly (Mike) Medrano, Lisa (Kevin) Wiepen, Traci (Tom) Sonichsen; brother-in-law, Donavan (Sherri) Hamilton and many nieces and nephews.
Missy was preceded in death by her father, the late Michael Hevle and grandparents, Orlien and Mary Hevle.
