Mike ‘Bubba’ Bovero, age 62 of Mission Hill, SD passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 22, 2025 at his residence. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Opsahl-Kostel Memorial Chapel, Yankton, SD with Rev. Errin Mulberry officiating. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date. Visitations will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Mike Bovero, 62, passed away unexpectedly, at his home in Mission Hill with his wife (Dianna) daughter (Magen) Levi, and his grandchildren (Joslyn, Amelia, and Rylee) on Monday September 22nd, 2025.
Mike was born on July 29th, 1963 in Ogden, Utah to parents Donna and Carl Bovero, and was married to Dianna Meyers (Llewellyn) in May 1993.
Mike was a loyal employee for Hydro Ext. (Yankton) For 30 years. His hobbies were hunting with his brothers, golfing, and playing pool. Most recent hobbies were driving his grandkids around in his golf cart, watching westerns and CMT countdown on Saturday mornings.
Mike will be greatly missed by his wife Dianna, 2 daughters Desiree (Ted) and Magen (Levi) and stepson Dewayne Llewellyn (Shanna). Several grandchildren (Desiree and Ted) Eli, Stella, Sawyer (Magen and Levi) Joslyn, Amelia, Rylee (Dewayne and Shanna) Alissa, Dewayne Jr., Jocee, Tristan, LJ, Layla, Bella. And several great grandchildren. Also, he will be greatly missed by his siblings Chris (Mariann) of Iowa, Ron (Linda) Carla (Travis) and Sherry of Yankton, and several nieces and nephews.
Mike was proceeded in death by his parents Donna and Carl and his sister Ronda.
