MANTZ ROSEMARY Rosemary Joy ‘Rose’ Mantz age 64 of North Sioux City, SD and formerly of Yankton, SD passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Assembly of God with Rev. Steve Schaible officiating. Burial will be approximately 3:30 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Wildwood Cemetery, Pillager, MN. Visitations will begin at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, Yankton, SD with a prayer service and memory sharing at 6:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Norm Powell, Dennis Grams, Steve Roux, Ryan Hanson, Reneldy Senat and Hunter Baugh. Rose was born March 24, 1952 in Brainerd, MN to Clarence and Gertrude (Gronhoy) Collins. She grew up in the Brainerd area and attended school and graduated from Brainerd High School. She attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND where she met her husband, Jeff, and was married in Brainerd, MN on June 10, 1972. They entered pastoral ministry in 1973. Her love of music has been a part of their ministry and family, and that legacy continues through their children and grandchildren. In addition to raising her children, Rose was always working on a project, whether it was painting, construction, or landscaping – the evidence of her creativity has left a beautiful trail behind her. But her greatest love on earth was her family and her love for Jesus was the center of her life. Rose is survived by her husband Pastor Jeff Mantz of North Sioux City, SD; her daughters Annette (Steve) Roux of Yankton, SD and their children Hunter, Hailey, Caleb and Sydney; Kimberly Mantz of Beverly, MA and her daughter Mariah; Elizabeth (Ryan) Hanson of Omaha, NE and their children Cole, Landon and Grace; Rachel (Reneldy) Senat of Woburn, MA and their children Logan and Greyson; her siblings Michael (Lynn) of Modesto, CA; Nora (Darwin) Olson of Elk River, MN; Timothy (Brenda) Collins of New York Mills, MN; Raymond (Linda) Collins of Wadena, MN; Rebekah (Dennis) Grams of Brainerd, MN; Henry (Shirley) Collins of Merrifield, MN; Patrick Collins of Brainerd, MN; Terrence (Kathy) Collins of Granite Bay, CA; and Barbara (Norman) Powell of Brainerd, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Gertrude Collins and her sister Kathleen Clarke.
