Victor Peter Auch

Victor was born August 31, 1928 to John and Lydia (Schoppert) Auch on a farm eight miles north of Menno.  Victor grew up in Menno and was baptized on November 22, 1928 at Johannestahl Reformed Church, rural Menno, SD.  Victor married Evon Ferdinand on October 11, 1979 and to this union, two children were born, Christian and Regina.  Victor enjoyed gardening, baseball, fishing and was a very social person who enjoyed getting out and talking to people.  Victor’s family was very important to him and he enjoyed outings with his son and daughter.  Victor grew up with four brothers and 1 sister.  He was very close to his siblings and enjoyed spending time with them.

Victor is survived by his son, Christian Auch of Fordyce, NE; daughter, Regina Auch of Yankton, SD and his grandchildren:  Cole Auch, Cody Auch, Wyatt Auch, Jade Sobotka and Tristan Sobotka.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Art, Calvin, Paul and Walter and his sister, Lora.
