William Francis Fisher

Bill Fisher was born June 2, 1942 in Hammond, IN, to Arnold C. and Helen Estelle (Crane) Fisher.  He was a resident of Sioux Falls for many years and attended Washington High School.  He graduated from Sioux Falls College in 1964.  His working years were mainly spent with the J.C. Penney Company in Omaha and Grand Island, NE.

His family and friends will always remember Bill as a fun-loving and very generous individual.  He was always more concerned about his family than himself.

Bill is survived by his sisters, Ann Catherine (John) Aslin of Dubuque, IA and Mary Genevieve (Timothy) Jirschele of Venice, FL; his brother, Roy (Lucy) Fischer of Elmhurst, IL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Jean O’Gara in April of 2015.
